A NYS licensed certified public accountant with over 40 years of experience in public accounting. Bill’s areas of specific experience in tax and financial statement reporting including: large construction firms, manufacturing, wholesale, medical field, retail, utilities, structuring and implementing Employee Stock Ownership Plans {ESOP’s}. Auditing of regulated entities included: a multi-state telecommunications company; various NYS Section 8 Housing projects and Housing Authority Bond Issues.

Implementation and management of independent regulated insurance captives with-in various state domiciles. Manage all financial, tax and state reporting requirements.

Bill received his Bachelor of Science (Accounting) from the State University of New York at Binghamton School of Management. ‘76

Robert (Rusty) M. Hanafin Jr.

Partner

A licensed NY insurance broker. Has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry.  The last 25 devoted to captive insurance.  His background includes several years working for large national insurance companies, then 8 years as a broker and 15 years as founder/ CEO for a large, risk bearing (via captive), managing general agency.  Formed the first Serial LLC captive licensed in Delaware 2009.

Rusty received his bachelors’ degree from Southern Methodist University ’85.
